How We Work Differently
Some free inspections are provided by businesses that also sell damp-proofing or remedial work. That does not automatically make their findings wrong, but the commercial relationship should be understood. Richard’s survey fee is independent of any remedial work because Damp Detectives does not sell damp-proofing treatments.
Thermal imaging is available where appropriate and is interpreted alongside the building inspection, moisture readings and environmental evidence.
What’s Included in Your Sheffield Damp Survey
Relevant accessible internal areas and external elevations are inspected where safe and practical. Roof spaces, subfloors, concealed voids and other restricted areas are only inspected where suitable access is available and within the scope of the survey booked.
