How We Work Differently
Independent diagnosis comes first. Some free inspections are provided by businesses that also sell damp-proofing or remedial work. That does not automatically make their findings wrong, but the commercial relationship should be understood. Richard’s survey fee is independent of any remedial work because Damp Detectives does not sell damp-proofing treatments.
An independent survey distinguishes between possible causes such as condensation, plumbing leaks, rainwater penetration, ground-related moisture and building-detail defects before remedial decisions are made.
