How We Work Differently
Independent surveying means keeping diagnosis commercially separate from remedial work. Damp Detectives does not carry out, sell or receive income from damp-proofing treatments arising from the survey. The survey fee is for the investigation and findings, rather than for generating subsequent treatment work. Evidence is gathered from the building inspection and appropriate diagnostic checks, then considered together before conclusions are reached.
Thermal imaging may be used where it can add useful supporting evidence; it is not treated as a stand-alone diagnosis. A full written report is available when the relevant reporting tier is selected.
